Sarah and Matt got married at the Round House in Aurora, Il, a small out door wedding held in the center of the round! With the exception of a touch of rain, it was a beautiful day, and the ceremony was quite romantic.

I love photographing children. Especially when they are at that age where they start to say no… a lot…. and more importantly they say no to me. I always respect the no…. wait a few moments, then call out their name and see what can happen……

Lynn and Ivan’s fairy tale wedding was on Friday June 27th. Lynn looked gorgeous in her wedding gown and was all smiles from the break of dawn! Ivan looked amazing too, and wasn’t afraid to show himself off in his tux. It made for a great day of photographing!

Sometimes I hear “There are sooooo many to choose!” Well, I decided that sometimes, more is better! One of my biggest selling products are my 16×20 collages. They sell for $275.00. My clients love these, their favorite memories all wrapped into one picture!

Ashley & Phil got married at Immanuel Lutheran in Hinckley, IL The setting was beautiful, an old historic church in the middle of the country, and their reception was at the Riverside Receptions in Geneva, IL. That particular day the sky was an incredible blue filled with white fluffy clouds. It was a beautiful day for thier wedding. I asolutely fell in love with Ashley’s dress from the moment I saw it hanging. It was so beautiful, and she looked great in it.

Danny & Nicole tied the know in Clare, IL on a friends family farm. It was absolutely beautiful. The setting was very romantic and intimate. It was an outdoor wedding with only family invited. There was probably on about 60 people at the ceremony. One of Nicole’s photo request was a group picture with everyone! This will now be one of my fondest memories. A few months ago, I met a woman who has an incredible organic nursery in Stockton, IL. I was asked to photograph her nursery. I had such a blast spending time walking around and capturing the beauty in all the flowers. What an incredible talent Jeanie has! These flowers were breath taking!

For Matt & Kate’s engagement pictures we started off at Kate’s parents home in Sycamore, and then went to one of my favorite places to photograph, Blumen Gardens. It was fun to walk around the gardens with them, but my favorite moments were trying to get Foxie, Kate’s dog to pose with them for some pictures. Sometimes I wonder if dogs really know eactly what there are doing! One of my favorite pictures I took of them was taken at the Blumen Gardens; Matt was the focus and Kate framed him perfectly! Sara & Bobby got married this summer on May 31st. It was a gorgeous spring day, that was telling everyone summer was just around the corner. The ceremony was out doors and over looked a beautiful golf course in Geneva, IL. A few things that vividly stick out in my mind about their wedding day was an incredible speech Bobby’s sister gave during the ceremony about Love,  and the other was an incredible cup cake wedding cake! It was amazing, and delicious! A huge plug for Sweet Dreams in Sycamore! YUMMY!

It was my first peek at where Danny and Nicole were going to get married….and I was blown away!!  A small cabin, belonging to family friends, sets the back drop for this session, and soon to come wedding. What a romantic place. It was fun to photograph them that day. They were very playful with each other, and that really reflects in the images I captured.
